Ok… all of the questions about relationships – the general answer is always: Leave him/her… have people gotten lazy? What about WORKING on a relationship? and maybe considering the OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY? generally people post questions when they are angry or depressed, they may be distorted or blown out of proportion due to the person’s emotions at the time…
but all the time – the general gist is alway: Leave/get rid of the person… no wonder there is such a high divorce rate – it is the same as the obesity epidemic – Laziness…
and I’m talking about both, men and women…
so, unless the relationship is conflict-less, then it is not “True love” and it follows the couple should split?

I agree whole-heartedly. While there are many reasons that someone should end a relationship (abuse, both physical and emotional, being uppermost in my mind), there are also many reasons to work on a relationship.
We live in a throwaway society. People put so little value on anything outside themselves anymore – the selfishness is staggering.

im doing my GCSE case study for science on the question ‘is there an obesity gene, if so, is it the cause of the modern obesity epidemic?’ and im beggining to wish id chosen one of the model questions and not chosen my own!

Why are so many young women so overly concerned about their weight?
I know there is an obesity epidemic occurring the United States, but I’m getting sick of being asked only 2 types of questions, or questions with annoying implications!
The questions are usually either something like (these are exaggerations of course–usually):
HELP! I want to lose 500lbs in 2 days! What can I do?! And DON’T TELL ME IT’S NOT possible!
–a person’s number one concern should be their long term health–not what their bathing suit looks like a couple weeks/day/hours from now.
or there are questions like: “Am I too fat? I weigh 90lbs and am 5’11 (i know gross, right?). what should I do?”
Of course you aren’t fat! Stop assuming that because your thighs can be pinched or that you can’t see ALL of your ribs means that you are fat!

Society is overly judgmental….Making young women feel like they aren’t good enough or aren’t “sexy” like a woman figure “should” be. Have you noticed how men (and even other women) obsess over girls who are “perfect” or “sexy” Its an image. And most girls want the attention of a male (nature)…so they want to be like these “perfect” girls who capture the attention of so many men. Look around at all the media….the victoria secret commercials with the “perfectly designed” female bodies. Or all the commercials for diet pills and losing weight. That explains it.

Answer these questions to yourself:
If someone steals from you, do you call the cops?
Is fast food largely to blame for the obesity epidemic?
Do you take Prozac or any other anti-depressants?
Should politicians have our best interests at heart?
If you answered yes to any of these questions you are gullible and do not know how to deal with your own problems, therefore should never complain about the government babysitting you and protecting you from yourself.
If you answered no to all of these questions(and aren’t just bullsh*tting), then I love you.

I love you too kitty, though I will at times work with cops, I prefer to handle it, but I’ve got people who depend on me, so ain’t doin jail. I do look out for my neighbors as well, and I would risk my life for them, but I’m kind of a bad ass and much more than average accomplished in armed combat. Not that I look like a bad ass or they would see it coming, but I am fully capable of eliminating a threat’s capability to do damage to me or others, and I’m focused on that when I have to be.

PS I have to agree with SOME of the posters here, your facts are good but I am not sure you are blaming the correct people. I am more inclined to believe that It is our government that is doing this stuff or the people who control the FED……..the ones who really pull the puppet strings and have control of the entire political arena.
