Your Questions About List Healthy Fattening Foods

Betty asks…

What are FATTENING FOODS you should STAY AWAY from? (that a kid might eat on a daily basis)?

THANKS! Btw, I don’t mean little kid, I just meant kid in general. (ex : fries, potatoes, macaroni n cheese)

P.S – can you give me a list of healthy food that I could substitute those foods with?

admin answers:

There are no foods that you should stay away from, there are foods that you should eat once in a while and foods that you should only consume in small amounts every so often. See, there you go trying to deprive yourself, which is only going to hurt you in the end. Just allow yourself to have these things you crave, just don’t eat them everyday and eat small portions of these things. That is the way to let your brain know again that you can Always have these things, and you don’t need to freak out and eat it all then and there. That is my problem, I am so scared that I will never have this good food again so I eat it all.

I know my answer is bad, so I will actually try and give you what you asked for.

Stay away from empty calorie foods, which means dont eat candy, chips, things like that. Those things are always in the junk food isle. Also, here is a tip the next time you go to the grocery store. Only shop on the outside of the store, dont go down any isles. Only go down the ones you have to, but dont go down the isle with chips, candy and so on.

Donald asks…

Why are junk foods sold as healthy foods?

Red meat – Full of fat, cause bowel Cancer.
Milk – Full of fat; contributes to obesity
Cheese – Full of fat.
Oranges – Full of acid and rot your teeth and stomach lining
Eggs – Full of cholesterol
Potatoes – High-carb and they are very fattening

These foods should be listed as junk foods.

Love you Username. So very true!

As long as you have it in moderation, I think you should be fine. There’s other foods that are much better.

Sandra asks…

Can anyone help me write a list of HEALTHY snacks?

Okay so I’m not doing this to lose weight. I’m 5″8 and slim, I just want to eat a bit healthier. My meals are usually quite healthy, I love fish and vegetables. But I have a problem finding healthy snacks. Snacking consists of eating chips, fattening dips, cookies, chocolate, cake, candy. So can anyone help me think of some food items that are healthy snacks? (I am not a fussy eater, so I will probably like what you suggest!) :) Thanks!

admin answers:

Nuts
fruits
veggies
peanut butter
granola bars
fat free greek yogurt
whole wheat dry cereal
fat free cheese sticks
air popped popcorn
dry fruit

Good Luck =)

Nancy asks…

My friends become frusterated with me because I don’t eat fattening foods. Does anyone else have this problem?

Okay this sounds like a weird question but… We went shopping at the mall on the weekend. For lunch at the food court the two friends I was with ordered meals that weren’t exactly on the healthy list. My one friend Kelsey got 2 slices of Sbarro stuffed pizza, and my other friend Leah got the sweet and sour breaded chicken and fried rice meal at Sarku Japan. I bought a six inch ham sub and a bottle of water. (I’m not on a diet or anything, I just feel better when I eat healthy.) My friends for some reason made fun of what I had. I wanted to say something back about what they were eating but I didn’t. Then after lunch they bought cinna stix at Cinnabon. We all shared them but, I don’t want to grow into these unhealthy eating habits around other people. How can I get my friends to understand that?

admin answers:

You don’t need them to understand it, just as long as you do. If they are really that concerned about what you eat around them you might want to consider new friends, real friends would be supportive of you making decisions like that.
