That great youve quit, BUT QUIT THE CANNABIS too :)

Ok 10 Tips:

1) Eat breakfast, always, most important meal, but eat it healthy :)

2) Excersise atleast 30 mins + a day

3) Drink a glass of water before every meal so you dont eat too much. Have about 8 a day x

4) Chew on gum, or ice to make sure you dont over-snack.

5) Try not to eat anything in the last 3 hours before you go to sleep, basically after around 8.00, NO solid food.
Have green tea instead.

6) God i cant think of any more :S

Ummm yeah, when you watch tv or sit on the computer, don simple excersises like sitting staright, moving your hands and feet about, walking around the room, etc..

At the moment I overeat and am extremely obese. I dont want to crash diet or follow a fad, I want real tips on how to change my days to be more healthy.

TRY THIS, and stick to it.

The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.

Fruits and Veggies

Eat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.

Don’t eat anything that comes in a can, box or package….
…..THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD…..
If man made it, don’t eat it

NO white BREAD or SUGAR

NO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, and it is not good for you, very high in FAT and Calories

NO FRIED FOOD…

Stay away from FAST FOOD

Don’t think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change

I have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week….controlled portion….this really works………

What are some tips for a healthy lifestyle?

I use to hate the way I looked because I was kind of chubby , so I decided to start eating healthier and exercising, but that only lead to anorexia because it felt so good to see changes. However, I am a little underweight (5’5″ and 112 pounds), so I am thinking about gaining a little weight because sometimes I feel too skinny. I want to continue eating healthy, but I also want to BE healthy. What can I do to be healthy now, but also be healthy for life? (I’m 15).

Aww, good for you! I know how hard it is to overcome things like this.

I got to warn you though- even though you may feel fat after gaining a few pounds, you are not. You are being healthy and going back to a more natural weight for your body.

That said, to be healthy, eat the foods you already eat except eat them when you’re hungry. Try not to ignore your stomach when it rumbles. Eat balanced meals of fruits, vegetables, bread, and meat.

Only 15 but started playing a sport looking for ways to become more healthy so i can play the sport better

*Practice when you have free time.
*Run for at least 30 minutes every day.
*Drink more water.
*Cut out junk food. When you’re playing a sport, it makes it more difficult to preform well when you have junk food in your system.
*Eat more fruits and vegetables. For a snack, substitute the junk food with an apple.
*Get enough sleep. If you don’t, it slows down your metabolism or something.
